My favorite Train movie? It’s tied between Emperor of the North, and Rocky Mountain Express! You read my mind!

I was just a child when Emperor of the North Pole movie was released in theatres. (There were no DVD’s or VHS home releases back then). I caught just a few brief commercial promos on TV advertising “Emperor of the North Pole” and from that moment, I was hooked and had to see it. Emperor of the North Pole is great movie and an absolute must see if you are a fan of vintage railroading, Lee Marvin, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Aldrich, or Keith Carradine.

There is no doubt that some of the best comedy films relate to trains. Who can forget the brilliant classic airplanes, trains and cars starring Steve Martin and John Kandy? Silver Streak (1976) is a comedy film that includes murder, physical abuse and comic abuse from Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.
